Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
When I was 10, my parents gave me Guitar Hero II for Christmas, and I was instantly obsessed. By 12, I was competing online and ranked 16th in the world. Eventually, I swapped the plastic controller for a real guitar, and never looked back.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Bon Iver, For Emma, Forever Ago
Dave Grusin, Simon & Garfunkel, The Graduate (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)
Mac Miller, Circles
Impossible question.They change often. But for today, "For Emma" has a raw, wintery vibe I adore. "Circles" by Mac shares incredibly vulnerable growth. And "The Graduate" soundtrack (lol) is just timeless. All three feel honest, and a little haunted.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
One of the most memorable chapters was playing with my old band, Chase and the Barons. Hundreds of shows, multiple releases, and a lot of miles in the SUVs. After a five-year hiatus, I’m back at it... older, wiser(?), and doing it with intention.
