About Evander
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
On the school bus when I was young, my friends and I learned lyrics to the songs on the radio. We would start yelling the lyrics. Eventually our bus driver would turn off the radio if some songs came on, because she knew that we had them memorized.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Apulanta, Aivan Kuin Kaikki Muutkin
Title Fight, Shed
Violent Femmes, Violent Femmes
Title fight is where I grew up. Apulanta is Finland. Violent Femmes is why I play acoustically.

“slept all day (demo)”
Slept all day is a song I wrote in 2019-2020 and was the first "Evander" song. After writing it I realized I found my sound as a song writer, and everything since has to hold up to this songs vision.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Tampere as a city as been very influential here. I have met so many people that have made Evander what it is now here. My move to the city has been the biggest step for the music.
