About Eyes for Telescopes
Artist Biography
Based in Charlottetown, Pennsylvania, Eyes for Telescopes put together their brand of rock in the spring of 2000 for a multi-media show.
Featuring guitarist Pat Deighan, vocalist/percussionist Belinda Doyle, guitarist Dan Currie, drummer Mike MacDougall, and bassist Craig MacPherson, the band's members had mostly come out of like-minded Charlottetown acts.
Each member also wrote, which helped give them a variety lacking from many of their previous outfits.
Involving themselves in a Charlottetown music festival as well as contributing members to the alternative country band Tuesdays, the band released it's first CD, Please Survive, in 2001.
Praised heavily by local critics, the band put together Soundsaroundus and released it the next summer. ~ Bradley Torreano
