About Faheem Abdullah
Singer-songwriter Faheem Abdullah deals in vivid stories from the Kashmir valley, balancing his songbook with the universal themes of love and romance. Traversing pop, rock, ghazal and indie folk influences, Abdullah began releasing music in 2020, starting with the single “Jhelum”. His debut album Lost;Found, which followed in 2024, focused more on introspection, helped by collaborations with fellow Kashmiri artists including Parvaaz’s Khalid Ahamed as well as Zeeshaan Nabi and Yawar Abdal. The album spawned breakthrough hit “Ishq” featuring Rauhan Malik, which showcases a charming pop side to Abdullah’s established rock and folk credentials. Still, Kashmiri poetry and culture remain at the centre of his songwriting across the 14 compelling tracks of his first full-length statement.
