Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of our earliest musical memories takes us back to 2009, when we met at music college — the moment that unknowingly marked the birth of fika. Not long after, we went to see John Mayer at The O2 Arena, and he's a huge inspiration for us
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? D'Angelo, Voodoo John Mayer, Continuum Stevie Wonder, Songs in the Key of Life Stevie Wonder because he's just a genius and we wouldn't have all the great music we have today without him. Same for D'Angelo really, his music changed everything for us. John Mayer because he's an incredible writer & musician with a vast catalog!

Tell us why you chose this song. “Love Funk” This was one of our earliest releases and our first one we released without a label. A personal favourite and it didn't get heard for like 6 months. One day it just took off in Brazil and now it's one of our most streamed songs.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Signing with Tru Thoughts back in 2021 was pretty cool, a great label we've always admired.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We've barely got started... After taking a few years off we're getting going again this year (2026) and just can't wait to release music again. We're just happy to make a living from writing and releasing music, that's the dream.
