About Final Drive
A punishing, Southern groove thrash metal unit based out of St. Louis, Missouri, Final Drive draws inspiration from a wide swath of seasoned decibel-breakers including Pantera, AC/DC, Slayer, Machine Head, and Clutch. Founded in 2002, the band features the talents of guitarist Nathan Easter, vocalist Jordan Gaw, drummer Alex Wheeler, and bassist Ray Tucker. The band issued their independent debut album, Good Things Come to Those Who Refuse to Wait, in 2004, followed by the Firebrand Sessions in 2006, Under the Overpass of America in 2009, and Lifeswork in 2014. Dig Deeper, the band's fifth studio long-player, dropped in early 2017. ~ James Christopher Monger
