Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Trying to play my fathers old Citation acoustic guitar in the apartment complex we grew up in. All it took was that spark.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ben Nichols, The Last Pale Light In the West John Moreland, High on Tulsa Heat The Weakerthans, Left and Leaving John Moreland is one of the greatest of our time. I hang onto every word John K. Samson has written for The Weakerthans. Ben Nichols writes lyrics that feel conversational but later have a way of revealing their true weight, a tough thing to master.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Headstrong in on Empty” This song was written with every intention of being memorable, yet not to fall into the trappings of it only being memorable. A lot of ground gets covered lyrically so I had to make sure the melody not only served the song but also the listener.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Sometimes it isn't only about the music. This journey as a musician has earned me many lifelong friendships. I'd have to say it's about people and connecting.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? It's already a gift to have found what I love to do. I wake up and do everything in my power to be the example. Sure... it'd be nice to have more recognition and land more opportunities. But it's alright either way.
