Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember how my parents would make me prepare a special song for my family at holiday gatherings. There are some really hilarious home videos of me singing at Thanksgiving. I never realized how much that would influence my love for music.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ben Rector, Into the Morning JOHNNYSWIM, Georgica Pond Leon Bridges, Coming Home (Deluxe) These albums hit me hard when they first came out. These artists and songwriters have also influenced a lot of my sound and my songwriting.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Coming Around for Me” This song was one of the first times I felt I had a glimpse of who I was as a songwriter.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I would say this new release (Dance With You) is pretty memorable for me because the it's inspired by the story of how me and my wife met.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Always. The first would be to consistently release new music in 2024. The second would be to write a song with a hero. The last would be to do a small tour one day.
