Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Hearing Howard Jones' What Is Love on the radio as a kid, and the painstakingly long wait until it was played again.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Depeche Mode, Black Celebration Pink Floyd, The Wall The Cure, Disintegration 2010 Remaster All three albums find beauty in melancholy. They explore longing, darkness and uncertainty, yet never lose sight of hope. That tension between shadow and light has been a defining influence on Fredlite.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Chasing Illusions (feat. Elin Kling)” This one sparked my album Hurt, Dirt and Healing Hearts - and opened a doorway to Temptation City.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Releasing my first album and all the positive feedback and support that came along with that.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To look back one day and know that I took the dream as far as it could go. Everything else—streams, charts and milestones—is secondary.
