Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember sitting by my grandma's electric organ. When I figured out chords and melodies of songs that I knew in my head.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? John Coltrane, A Love Supreme Kiss, Rock and Roll Over Remastered The Beatles, The Beatles 1967-1970 (The Blue Album) I grew up with many different musical influences and they have all made an impact on the music that I create today.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Breathing” I just love how melodic this piece is and the sound of the guitar. I also love the ambient background chords.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable moment was when I signed a record deal with a US record label at the age of 50. I was very proud of that, and I felt that it was a recognition as a musician and producer.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Absolutely! I want to tour the world with my own band of top jazz musicians and make an impact on people's lives. I want them to feel energized, inspired and relaxed at the same time.
