In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Growing up in a home filled with music. The Rolling Stones, Velvet Underground, Cat Stevens and James Taylor to name a few. From finding a love for Punk Rock to playing on one of the most iconic outdoor stages in South East London.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bayside, Interrobang Relient K, Forget and Not Slow Down mae, Singularity Mae. What a band! Beautiful melodies, excellent use of varied rhythms and excellent song writing. Interrobang is filled with superb hard hitting emotional punk rock. What a voice! Forget and Not Slow Down. Stunning album. Love the extended outros.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Self-Appointed King” One of the first songs I wrote for From The Workshop. The singalong! My first foray into turning old stories into song and still very much loved live. Thoroughy enjoyed recording all parts, especially the harmonies.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing the Bowl in Crystal Palace Park. Will never forget the experience of playing in front of a good few thousand people at such an iconic venue.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Plenty. We've only just begun. Major festivals, turning this passion into a full-time job, touring all over. Let's see eh?
