About FTO Sett
Memphis rapper FTO Sett delivers tense, streetwise bars with an adversarial disposition. Hailing from the South Memphis neighborhood, more specifically the area nicknamed South Vegas for its street-level commerce, Sett released his first commercial singles in 2022. He signed that year with Gucci Mane's 1017 imprint, and Gucci joined him on "Break Out Dat Cake," his debut for the Atlantic-distributed label. Sett's first full-length project, Life of a SlimeCrook, followed numerous singles -- most notably the lean and menacing "Piss Sett Off" -- in 2023. Shortly after the release of the eight-track King Crook in 2024, Sett was among many artists who were simultaneously dropped from the 1017 roster, though it wasn't long before he teamed with CO3 for the four-track Celo & Crook EP and resumed solo activity with Jack of All Tr3s. Both of those short projects saw release in August 2025. Only two months later, Sett was back with the eight-song project Crooktober.
