Soul, funk, and R&B vocalist Clarence "Fuzzy" Haskins was an original member of both the doo wop group the Parliaments and the funkier, galactically inspired Parliament and Funkadelic iterations the band evolved into under the guidance of funk poster child George Clinton. Haskins' vocals were a key part of several groundbreaking albums connected to P-Funk, and after quitting the band in 1977, he released two solo albums (including the psychedelic grooves of 1978's Radio Active), and was a primary force behind the 1981 album Connections & Disconnections, a Clinton-free Funkadelic album that led to a legal battle over rights to the name.
Fuzzy Haskins has also released music as a member of The Parliaments, Original P, Funkadelic, George Clinton & The P-Funk All Stars, and Parliament.
