Gap Dream's fuzzy, eclectic pop is the project of Ohio native Gabe Fulvimar. Fulvimar spent his teens and twenties playing in area bands, including an early version of the Black Keys, while also working on his own music. A fateful 2010 meeting with the Burger Records crew led to Fulvimar recording in earnest. He continued to talk to the label team, ultimately sending them some of his demos; Burger was impressed enough to release Gap Dream's self-titled album via cassette in January 2012. After moving to California to be closer to the Burger crew, Fulvimar collaborated with Conspiracy of Owls/Go main man Bobby Harlow on the second Gap Dream album, Shine Your Light, which arrived in November 2013. ~ Heather Phares
