Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Seeing Keith Jarrett as a kid changed my musical career. His musical philosophy, letting the music lead the way and staying open musically has been an inspiration to me.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Danilo Perez, Panama 500 The Chick Corea New Trio, Past, Present & Futures Wayne Shorter, Beyond the Sound Barrier These are three master musicians that inspired me to study music and to pursue a musical career.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Parallel Universes” This is the first solo song that I ever recorded. Featuring a lot of the traditional percussion instruments that I specialize from the Middle East and Eastern Mediterranean regions.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Collaborating with world recognized artists such as John Patitucci, Danilo Pérez, Antonio Sanchez, Anat Cohen, Dave Liebman, Miguel Zenón and A Far Cry String Orchestra. In addition being part of two Grammy nominated albums.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Winning a Grammy at some point of my career for my original work.
