Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I must have been 5 or 6 at the time - I remember sitting at the piano trying to show off to my mum how fast I could play a little scale. (It really wasn't very impressive!) But I treasure the feeling of love, support and encouragement she gave me.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? John Coltrane, John Coltrane Giant Steps Julian Bream, Julian Bream Plays Granados & Albéniz - Music of Spain, Vol. 5 Zakir Hussain, Making Music These 3 albums all contain moments of absolute beauty. From the delicate vibrato of John Coltrane when playing Naima, to Julian Bream's incredible opening few bars of Mallorca and Making Music is just full of joyful interplay.

Tell us why you chose this song. “In the Grip Part 1 (Homage to Philip Glass)” I wrote "In the Grip" in homage to Philip Glass because I didn't think he would ever write for the guitar! 'In the Grip' was the catalyst for my future Glass albums after I realised I could find ways to transcribe his music onto a single guitar.
