Through his elegant, introspective R&B, GIVĒON remolds the pain of love and heartbreak into something beautiful. As the Long Beach, CA-born singer and former Up Next artist told Apple Music, “I want the songs to sound like a natural dialogue—just a conversation with music behind it.” GIVĒON's resonant songwriting and honeyed baritone have locked in listeners since his breakout year of 2020. During that time, he collaborated with Drake (“Chicago Freestyle”) and released two EPs, Take Time and When It’s All Said and Done, where songs like “Heartbreak Anniversary” and “Last Time” ruminate over breakup dates and the pull of a toxic relationship. His stock soared further after he featured on Justin Bieber’s monster hit “Peaches” (2021) then released his debut album, Give or Take, in 2022.
