Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My dad had a Louis Jordan cassette he would always play in the car. I loved riding in the back seat hearing that on the stereo and singing (more like shouting) the line "Take me right back to the track, Jack!" on the song "Choo-Choo Ch, Boogie".
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Buena Vista Social Club, Buena Vista Social Club Elliott Smith, Either/Or Talk Talk, Spirit of Eden These albums are all of very different scopes musically. All three are incredible works of intention and integrity, and three albums I come back to over and over again.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Between a Steeple and a Satellite” This song encapsulates so much of what I spend my time thinking about, the unanswerable questions of life. You'd think that would steer the song in a morose direction, but it doesn't. It's upbeat, and a lot of fun to play live.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Anytime I play with a string section — violins, viola, and — is humbling, powerful experience. Whether live or in the studio, I am always moved by the experience and the dimension of emotion it adds to the songs.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd be pretty tickled to have a song of mine used in a movie!
