In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Since as early as I can remember, I’ve always had a passion for music. It was my life — that’s all I knew. From the age of 13, I produced; I never had the thought of being a rapper. Making beats was my passion before I ever said one lyric.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chief Keef, Finally Rich (Deluxe Version) Lil Wayne, Tha Carter III Michael Jackson, Thriller I chose these three specifically because it was a progression thing for me. Michael has always been my favorite artist, but Tha Carter III and Finally Rich shaped me and made me fall in love with music.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The most memorable moment in my career was hearing one of my songs played by other people for the first time — the energy was unreal. That moment made everything feel real and reminded me why I fell in love with music in the first place.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Winning a Grammy is on my bucket list because it represents the highest level of recognition in music — a symbol that all the years of hard work, passion, and sacrifice truly meant something.
