Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was in children’s choir at my catholic church and also played the handbells. I always knew what music was but didn't really take it serious till later on in life.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 2Pac, Me Against the World Kanye West, Late Registration Koffi Olomidé, V12 These are the albums that are endless when it comes to plays and also represent my perspective. Music is spiritual at the end of the day and nothing speaks more to that than these albums.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “$aturdayNightFever (feat. Myles T. Jordan)” This song was the first collaboration with Myles and the second track created for my debut project. The inspiration was from a time where me and my friends were all broke and only looked forward to the weekends. The weekend is a time of freedom.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Finding my niche and the way to describe my lifestyle on wax are two things I will never forget. I’ve been blessed to develop and present the character that you see.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to work with Shy Glizzy and A$AP Rocky. I think we can make one of the best songs in the history of music. If not those two then I would love to work with Pharrell, he's been one of inspirations since 'Grindin' came out.
