Bronx-born fashion journalist/musician Will Johnson delivers stylish electro-funk with a smirk under the alias Gordon Voidwell. Heavily indebted to pop music that was released in his birth year of 1983, his single "Ivy League Circus" took a modern approach to the well-groomed hooks and grooves of artists like Prince and the Talking Heads, and shared a similar sense of humor as Das Racist (a duo who befriended and collaborated with Voidwell often.)
