Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Going to the LA Supershow in 1994 and seeing Notorious BIG, Da Brat and Rappin 4 Tay all perform live on stage.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Prince, 1999 2019 Remaster Snoop Dogg, Doggystyle The 1st CD I ever purchased. Up to this day probably the best sonically produced album. This is also arguably the greatest debut hip hop album of all time. 1999 was the precursor to Purple Rain,the album that solidified Prince's signature sound.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Black Coffee” I sampled my great grandfather's (Matty Matlock) clarinet solo and embodied the sound of the music he made back then with Wingy Manone, Bob & Bing Crosby.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Producing an entire R&B album (Nina - Just Nina). Also branching off into Reggae, Jazz and Electronic music
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Producing music in other genres such as R&B, Reggae, Jazz & Rock as well as Film scaring.
