Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memory was finding my brothers first act guitar when I was maybe 4, gathering my family together on the living room couch, and performing a concert for them - totally improvised! Bless there hearts, it lasted over an hour!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Mac DeMarco, This Old Dog OK Go, Of the Blue Colour of the Sky Tame Impala, InnerSpeaker I was falling out of love with a girl around the same time I was falling IN love with music, and these 3 albums really helped catalyze the process. Each has an incredible story, bold innovations in production techniques, and lots of good songs.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I spent so much time working on Total Lunacy in the evenings that I was so tired so regularly at work that I got fired. I lived off of my savings while finishing the album in the month that followed. That frenzy is something I'll never forget.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have a ton of plans for Guyo. I have a list on my phone with 6 solid album contents, I just have to figure out in which order I want to work on them. Beginning production on album 2 soon. It's tentative title is "Internal Reflections."
