About hARded2000
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Even though I've been passionate about music since I was very young, listening to The Weeknd's Dawn FM completely changed my world. It was when I realized albums and music in general were an art – one crafted with intricate detail and high ambitions.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? AJR, The Maybe Man Black Country, New Road, Ants From Up There Duncan Laurence, Skyboy 1. The Maybe Man feels like a new direction that still sticks to AJR's unique style. 2. Ants From Up There is the first album in which BCNR adopt a sentimental sound, hitting the feels hard. 3. Skyboy sees Duncan go theatrical and grand beautifully.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Die For You” A really underrated EDM masterpiece. It's a 6-minute journey that takes you from one drop to another with a gorgeous chorus and beautiful lyrics, which are further expressed by Isaa's great vocals.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The YouTube and Soundcloud-exclusive "that's not her name" was the first actual non-Splash song I ever released, and seeing the love it got for the first time really excited me. The same can be said for the "Candle" remix, to a larger extent.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Concept albums were always something that intrigued me, and I'm really hoping to be able to create a really immersive one soon. Probably something that builds upon my lore.
