Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I remember hearing She's Leaving Home by The Beatles and being confused by my reaction to it - it made me so sad, but I liked the way it made me sad and I wanted to hear it again. It felt like not being able to look away from the sun.

Anaïs Mitchell and Andy Shauf have written two of the songs most likely to make me cry (Shepherd and My Dear Helen). If I could describe why Burnside's so great I would, but there's no hope - you just have to hear it.

This was the first song I put out after a long break from releasing new music. I don't know how much longer that break might have been if Frankie hadn't reached out to ask to write/record some music together, so I'm very grateful for that.
