About Hemlock Row
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
Our writing sessions in the winter of 2024 were very impactful. We would come and write non-stop for hours into the night, the talks out on the patio, and the bond that it created was and is one of the most important to happen to the band to date.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Incubus, S.C.I.E.N.C.E. (Remastered)
Modest Mouse, The Lonesome Crowded West
Third Eye Blind, Third Eye Blind
These albums all share a sense of experimentation and raw emotional output that we find incredibly inspirational in our own writing process. We strive to invoke the same feelings of nostalgia and longing as these albums do for us.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Cold Beating Heart (Single Mix)”
Originally a poem, it is about the end of a confusing and life-changing relationship. Ultimately, exploring the struggle to understand how someone else can share the same connection you once had or deeper, despite all that you experienced together.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Winning the battle of the bands at Mousetrap in Indy after nearly missing the application cutoff. We got to play at a great venue with a ton of history alongside so many great groups and had two of our strongest sets at just the right time.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Headline a national tour, headline an international tour, sell out Ruoff and TCU Amphitheater - our hometown venues, sell out Madison Square Garden!
