Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember sitting at my grandma's piano at the age of 4, composing a song by ear. Creating something that came straight from my mind was a fantastic feeling. I would sit at the piano whenever I visited my grandma and continue working on the song.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Hervé Senni, No Guitar Allowed!!! My favorite albums are "No Guitar Allowed!!!" for its unconventional sounds, "Backyard" for its powerful mood, and "Keep It Simple" because it features songs I wrote when I was young with a second-line feel.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Cat Tax” My song Cat Tax is one of my favorite songs. I can finally match the same energy in the studio as in live performances. I love this song for capturing that raw energy and intensity.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of my favorite moments in my career was playing with my 7-piece band playing only my music at the Montreal Jazz Festival in front of 20 000 people.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I am particularly excited about exploring new genres, experimenting with my sound, and advancing my career. There is still so much to be achieved, and I can't wait to see what the future holds.
