Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Homeworld is a New Orleans based funk band whose core ethos is the sonic exploration of the boundaries between organic and synthetic musical expression. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? HOMEWORLD, Haute Dross - EP HOMEWORLD, Just the Good Stuff guitarist Christian Levi, and saxophonist/producer/DJ Jonathan Jouet—creates music that navigates the crossroads of tradition and innovation, blending deep New Orleans funk grooves with electronic textures, rock energy, and hip hop rhythms.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Cm Madness” In 2019, Homeworld released Just the Good Stuff, their debut album, which showcased a distinctive approach to funk-driven songwriting and improvisation. Building on that foundation, the 2025 EP Haute Dross further pushes sonic boundaries.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? drawing inspiration from The Meters and Kool & the Gang while exploring science-fantasy concepts, dystopian imagery, and solar-punk aesthetics. Both releases reflect the band’s commitment to extending the reach of funk into new musical territory.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Known for live performances that combine improvisation, heavy grooves, and immersive sound design, Homeworld has established itself as a creative force and a contributor within the New Orleans community.
