Artist Biography
A Los Angeles-based hard rock quartet that cites a wide range of influences including Led Zeppelin, the Beach Boys, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Johnny Cash, Pink Floyd, and Nirvana, Hudson formed in the fall of 2013 around the talents of Chris Llewellyn (guitars/producer), Brian Cohen (bass/keys/producer), David Hudson (vocals), and Christian Thierbach IV (drums). Employing a lethal mix of sonic muscularity and melodic might, the band spent 2013 and 2014 honing their chops on the live circuit, including a two-month residency at the Viper Room in L.A. and appearances at SXSW in Austin, Texas. The group issued their debut EP, In the Unknown, in June 2014, and received high marks for their single "Weightless." A follow-up EP, Cast Out, followed in October 2015. The band's hotly anticipated eponymous full-length debut arrived in 2017. ~ James Christopher Monger
