About Hypercolor
Hypercolor is an avant jazz-rock trio of global citizens based in New York City. Drummer, percussionist, and composer Lukas Ligeti originally hails from Austria, guitarist Eyal Maoz from Israel, and bassist/composer James Ilgenfritz from the U.S. All are established soloists involved in a wide variety of concurrent and sometimes overlapping projects, and all are active members of New York's creative jazz scene. Hypercolor's self-titled debut album was released by Tzadik in 2015. ~ Thom Jurek
