Australia's I Exist make a sludgy, doom and stoner rock-infused blend of heavy metal. Formed in Canberra, Australia in 2009, the group originally featured singer Jake Willoughby, guitarist Aaron Osborne, bassist Sam Provost, and drummer Simon Murphy. That same year, they released the demo EP Three Nails and a Book of Flaws on Midnight Funeral. By 2010 the group had added bassist/vocalist Alex Young and guitarist Adrian Kelly, with Provost moving full-time to guitar. Also in 2010, I Exist released their first full-length album, I: A Turn for the Worse, on Resist. The group's second full-length, II: The Broken Passage, arrived on Prosthetic in 2011, followed by From Darkness on Resist in 2013. ~ Matt Collar
