Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
Since a young age, I wrote poems all the time, but when I started middle school I began making those poems into lyrics. I really formulated my singing from being home alone and recording voice memos of myself with melodies I made up.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Childish Gambino, Because the Internet
Kendrick Lamar, To Pimp a Butterfly
The Weeknd, Trilogy
All 3 of these albums impacted my life significantly in not just how I view music sonically, but how I view my world. I experienced these albums during different transitions in my life that have helped shape who I am today.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I want to meet my idol and beneficially learn all I can to authentically evolve. I want to attend award shows, headline tours, perform at festivals, and travel around the world. Have fun, be me, and keep the whimsy.
