About Isemylee
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
One of my earliest musical memories is singing in my church choir in Haiti, where I discovered how deeply music could move people. Leading songs in church gave me the confidence to use my voice and planted the dream of becoming the artist I am today.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Beyoncé, Lemonade
Demi Lovato, Tell Me You Love Me (Deluxe)
Jessie J, Who You Are (Platinum Edition)
Why I chose them:
These albums inspire me because they combine powerful vocals with real emotion and vulnerability. I love artists who aren’t afraid to tell their stories, show their strength, and make you feel every word they sing.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“DID YOU LOVE ME”
This song is special to me because it comes from a place of vulnerability—questioning whether a love I believed in was ever real. It captures heartbreak, confusion, and the strength of choosing yourself after love leaves you with unanswered questions
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
One of my most memorable moments was hearing people sing along to my music and realizing that my story had become part of theirs. As a Haitian-born artist, every person my music reaches reminds me why I started singing in the first place.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I dream of touring the world, performing on the biggest stages, and bringing Haitian culture and my sound to a global audience. I hope to collaborate with artists who have inspired me and create music that crosses languages, cultures, and borders.
