Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Ma Dukes had just picked up my pops from the studio. He hopped in the whip & put his CD in. Hearing my pops in his element was the spark, but after hearing “The Eminem Show” with my pops in his Monty Carlo for the first time. It was up.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Childish Gambino, Camp Kid Cudi, Man on the Moon: The End of Day (Deluxe) OutKast, Stankonia (Deluxe Version) Cudi influenced Hip-Hop & the youth in a way that had ramifications that wouldn’t be fully realized for years to come. Gambino unapologetically brought light to the unspoken trials & tribulations of the weirdo’s & misfits. OutKast… c’mon man.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Limbo” I speak to myself in these songs. “Limbo” is almost like my magnum opus. My trials. My tribulations. My growing pains. “Poseidon” also fits into that category
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Having the opportunity to perform onstage thanks to my brother Tyl3r Davis. Cathartic doesn’t even begin to cover it.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I feel like it’s all in due time. I’m still learning & growing. My perspective is changing. I’m gifted & with this gift I can do whatever I want. Finding that “what” remains the dilemma
