About Jacinto
Jacinto is the stage name of Mexican indie pop songwriter Gonzalo Guerra Gómez. Born in Guadalajara, Jacinto grew up listening to rock en español icons such as Soda Stereo and Caifanes, learned to play guitar and piano, and played in bands with friends. One of his tracks caught the attention of Universal Music México, which promptly offered Jacinto a deal that led to the release of Duerme En Paz, his 2021 debut album. For a few years Jacinto balanced his day job with his music career, slowly building an appreciative following with singles such as "Enferma Despedida" with Renee and "Un Minuto" with Montecarlo, and a sophomore offering titled Las cápsulas del tiempo son rosas. Jacinto's blend of nostalgic, melodic pop/rock with honest lyrics and an indie sensibility appeared fully formed in Hipersentimental, his third album from 2026.
