In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is figuring out a melody by ear on our upright piano as a toddler. I played it obsessively until my parents asked me to switch songs. I realized music wasn’t just something to imitate, but something to create!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jim Croce, You Don't Mess Around With Jim John Prine, John Prine Kansas, Point of Know Return Jim Croce's Photographs & Memories is timeless storytelling and raw emotion. John Prine gives a masterclass in honest, poetic songwriting. Kansas's Point of Know Return includes “Dust in the Wind"—an inspiration since my cousin is the lead singer.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “There for You (feat. Zoe November)” “There For You” is a duet with my daughter, Zoe (12), about unconditional love and always showing up for the people who matter. Singing it together made the message even more real—a reminder that no matter what, we’ll always be there for each other.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I loved recording one of my upcoming songs, Never Know Why, with my partner, Vesper Stockwell. Hearing our voices blend, and knowing we created something meaningful together was incredibly special—music at its most personal.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I love to compose. I want to write a song that spreads over the world and deeply touches people. I also want to write a soundtrack for a movie or series!
