In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I listened to the Cars soundtrack religiously after the first movie came out. I think I was four years old. I sang those songs sun up to sun down.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Becoming of Age” I wrote this song after buying my first ukulele while visiting Hawaii. I was so excited to have one finally that I started writing right away. I was sitting in my living space when I came up with the melody and ran to finish the lyric on the beach.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing songs I had written live for the first time to a small audience. The feeling of putting something you made out there was like giving something important away. If a song is your own, no one can take that from you (metaphorically and legally).
