Choral conductor and keyboardist Mark Williams has established himself as a prominent member of the storied English cathedral tradition. Since 2017, he has served as the Informator Choristarum (director of music), organist, and tutorial fellow at Magdalen College, Oxford. Williams is also the principal guest conductor of the City of London Choir, the artistic director of the International William Byrd Festival, and is active in several charity organizations. His first recording with the Choir of Magdalen College, The Pillar of the Cloud: Five Centuries of Oxford Anthems, was issued in 2019. In 2024, Williams and the choir released the album Peace I Leave with You: Music for the Evening Hour.
Mark Williams has also released music as a member of Mondo Rock.
