Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember being backstage at the Dominican Parade in the Bronx, NY performing with my older cousin and her friends, waiting for the music to cue my entrance. Seeing the whole crowd, cheering, clapping, and then getting louder as I got on. I knew.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Drake, Nothing Was the Same (Deluxe) Kali Uchis, Isolation The Notorious B.I.G., Ready to Die (The Remaster) All three of these albums embody the stages of my creativity I was forced into "hermit" mode. Biggie, my lyrical guru, inspired my cadence, flow, and punchlines. Drake expanded my craft into songwriting, while Kali awoken my divine feminine energy.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? All of my music, because it's all memorized in my mind. I sing and rap my songs in my mind all day, and I cannot wait to hear them out loud.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To have someone tell me my song helped them during a tough time.
