About Jamin Bradley
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My college band, The Newfangled Sequence, launched “Project 111”—a song every day for 111 days. We made it halfway before unraveling, ending with a strange 80s pop song in Spanglish that felt like our official breaking point.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? BT, This Binary Universe John Mark McMillan, Peopled with Dreams MUTEMATH, MuteMath This Binary Universe pushed me beyond the box into creative risk. Peopled with Dreams taught me to write lyrics that ache with meaning. MuteMath showed me how to capture raw energy in music.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Oil Poured Out (Radio Edit)” While turning Song of Songs into a worship album, I slowed down and sat with words I’d usually skim. The bridge of “Oil Poured Out” reshaped how I see myself as lovely to God—I even tattooed the Hebrew word for “lovely” on my arm.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of my favorite moments is producing for artists for 1208 Greenwood Church, including JaiBird and Amity Grace. Their words carry weight, and I get to help translate their vision into sound—often in genres I never expected to step into.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Making a Motown-style album is still on my bucket list, as it's one of my favorite genres. I’d also love to explore an acoustic-electro project inspired by the haunting, spacious vibe of Death Stranding.
