Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Dreamgirls has always been my favorite movie. And around 6 or 7 my auntie used to call me out for a living room performance because I knew all the songs. Listen was my favorite.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Cleo Sol, Mother Jill Scott, Beautifully Human: Words and Sounds, Vol. 2 Lauryn Hill, MTV Unplugged No. 2.0 All these women have influenced my music heavily. Not only did each of these projects as well as many others of theirs touch me, but it inspired me to create authentically with God at the center unashamed. Impact over popularity.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Absolutely! To perform and/ or make a song with Ari Lennox, Cleo Sol, and Jill Scott and to perform at essence fest!
