About Jason Sinclair
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I vividly remember watching Grizzly Adams as a kid and hearing Thom Pace’s “Maybe.” I didn’t understand why but that song made me feel a sadness I couldn’t name. Years later I understood why. The idea a song can make you feel never left me.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Jason Isbell, Southeastern
Townes Van Zandt, Live at the Old Quarter, Houston, Texas
Zach Bryan, American Heartbreak
I love these albums because they’re built on brutally honest storytelling. They feel like lived-in worlds, not just collections of songs. Raw, human and lyric-led, they don’t tell me what to think. They leave room for me to feel it.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
The most memorable part has been learning to believe I could do this at all. I used to think artists had to follow a certain path. Now I think being an artist is reaching even one person. And maybe changing their day.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
The bucket list is simple: to know my words reached someone when they needed them. If a song makes one person feel understood, less alone, or a little more hopeful, that would mean more to me than any number.
