In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember seeing Disney's animated Beauty and the Beast for the first time in the cinema with my mum. I was completely enchanted by the songs. It took me to another realm I'd never experienced before.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Gracie Abrams, The Secret of Us (Deluxe) Mandy Moore, Silver Landings Taylor Swift, evermore (deluxe version) The lyricism on these albums is stunning and I can relate to so many of the emotions and stories. I also the elements of acoustic production throughout them which feels so real and raw.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “American Tennessee” This was one of the first songs I wrote where I moved into experimenting with writing in a genre I really loved but had always been afraid to attempt. In spite of the awful time it was written in, it is one of my best memories.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Gary Clark, the frontman of the 1980s pop band Danny Wilson tweeted about my song American Tennessee and said "What a beautiful track." It happened in 2021 and I'm still not over it.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Oh so many things. But let's take it one day at a time. Getting on an Apple Playlist would be great start though :D
