Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Around 5th grade, I performed my first trombone solo in front of the entire middle school...I was kinda great at improvising on the spot and realized the joy and adrenaline rush were then what I wanted to do with my life.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Nas, King's Disease II This is a blueprint on how to age gracefully in rap for real. I'm growing older in this space ( I guess I'm at least "Unc" on account of my age and bald ass head). Nas delivered something that took me back and pushed me forward at the same damn time.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “It Is What It Is (Let's Talk About It)” This title track showed the painful acceptance I found. Acceptance that we were going to fight for our lives in this era. Acceptance that I was enduring multiple failing relationships. While I accepted a lot of pain, I did feel rage. Lots of it.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Coming back from a 5-year hiatus.That was an awakening after sleeping on myself for so long. I clawed all my creative energy back and burst through with a solid body of work. Now with "Brave New World (EP)", I'm taking things to another level.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There are so many items left. Drop my debut album, go on my first proper tour, collab and travel with artists. I could go on.
