Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Buying my first ever CD, which was Gwen Stefani’s “Love.Angel.Music.Baby” I remember playing that album so much in the car that the disc became so scratched I had to buy another copy!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Depeche Mode, Some Great Reward (Deluxe) Lana Del Rey, Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd Madonna, Ray of Light These three records feel like an appropriate way to not only describe my music taste, but also the way i write and produce music. Underlying personal tones over (mostly) electronic instrumentals.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “oh my god” This song was written during the peak of COVID-19. I was living with some incredible people but felt completely isolated from everything I’d known. It’s a quite literal song, as I was fed up with not knowing what was going to happen next.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The feedback I got when I released “oh my god” was so heartwarming. I had people I didn’t even know reaching out on social media and complimenting the “moody” sound and how different it was from my previous work.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to continue writing music for myself and others. I’ve been writing since I was fourteen years old. I always strive to become a better producer and songwriter. I want to find my own little corner of electronic music and build around it.
