Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was at one of Philly's sizeable performance venues in the 80's, my tiny, exuberant self singing/dancing on a stage that was bigger than the world to me. Though I'm an introvert there was no fear, only a feeling that I was home and I belonged there!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Barbra Streisand, Funny Girl (Original Soundtrack Recording) Soundtrack from the Motion Picture Commissioned, Go Tell Somebody Swing Out Sister, Kaleidoscope World These 3 albums were the inception of a cavernous adoration for and relationship to my forever musical loves of Gospel/CCM, Jazz, and Broadway. Daily their influence inspires and joyfully captivates me and my journey to overflow.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Trust” It's a child's heart to a Father. Daddy, do you really want the best for me? Can I trust you with my deepest? Why do I have to wait? I had to learn (still learning) that I can trust the heart of my Heavenly Father, whatever point of need I'm at.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I was at Relish (live jazz/restaurant), performing my first 2 shows called JazRize. The "Rize" part refers to a gifted artist/dear friend of mine Rahnda Rize. What a wonder it was to create and nourish a living dream, with my family there for me.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes and I'm really at the genesis. The Lord has planted multiple dreams in me. To name a few: sing with and write for other artists, tour, and study under the greats. I want to always remain a vessel for Christ whether on/off stages and pages.
