Comedian Lil Duval went from acting as comic relief in music videos and mixtapes skits to releasing his own funny rap singles.
• The stage name Lil Duval references the city of Jacksonville in Duval County, Florida, where he grew up before relocating to Atlanta.
• While working as a stand-up comedian and actor, Lil Duval made appearances in videos by Atlanta locals T.I, D4L, and Jeezy.
• He hosted the 2011 mixtape Saks Fifth featuring Gucci Mane, Lil Wayne, and interludes from Duval.
• Duval scored a gold-selling crossover hit with 2018’s “Smile (Living My Best Life),” featuring Snoop Dogg and Ball Greezy.
