About Jem
Hailing from Wales, Jem (born Jemma Griffiths) is a singer-songwriter who mixes elements of electronica, rock, and trip-hop. After earning a law degree and developing some home demos, Jem traveled to the U.S. where she met Yoad Nevo, who became her co-producer. Their collaborative tracks generated a stir, and Jem was signed to ATO Records, which released the EP IT ALL STARTS HERE in 2003. Her debut full-length DOWN TO EARTH appeared in 2008. Jem’s songs have appeared in numerous television shows, including the O.C. and SIX FEET UNDER, and on the SEX IN THE CITY movie soundtrack.
