Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I always knew I wanted to make an album one day. ALWAYS! But it was really the first time I ever heard "Confessions" by USHER, that sealed it for me. My mom would play it all the time, on the way to school, cleaning the house, parties. That was it.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Brandy, Full Moon Erykah Badu, Baduizm Musiq Soulchild, Aijuswanaseing Simply put, rhythm and blues. I can play anyone of these at any given time and recall virtually every song, every lyric, every background top to bottom and that's crazy cause I can barely remember my own stuff half the time.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Downpour. (It's Gonna Rain.)” "Could you love me if I wasn't rocking standing crowds? But rocking hand-me-downs?" This song; it's simple yet, so coded. This song is a more uptempo song in my catalog, but it stems from a place where I personally felt I was at my low. Real talk.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Honestly, just having people listen to my music; whether thats one person or 1000 people. It was a time not too long ago when I was scared to do this, so to have people listen and actually like my music. That's pretty solid for me!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want- no, I am going to be that guy soon come. My bucket list consists of many things from touring all the way down to movie soundtracks. Crazy enough, I may even want to be in a boy band temporarily. Johnny Gill, New Edition type thing... yeah.
