About Jermaine Jackson
Though he never achieved the superstar status of brother Michael or sister Janet, Jermaine Jackson was nevertheless one of the more successful of his siblings in terms of a post-Jacksons solo career. He spent his youth performing with his brothers, but had his first solo hit while still a member of the group, with 1972’s “Daddy’s Home.” Jackson’s 1980 album, LET’S GET SERIOUS, was a major hit on both the pop and R&B charts, and he spent most of the ‘80s turning out one successful record after another, but his final solo recording was 1992’s YOU SAID.
Jermaine Jackson has also released music as a member of The Jacksons.
